“I believe there is power in claiming one's sense of self. My art explores the space where an individual not only questions societal norms but pushes back against these concealed cages. My practice investigates the edges of these invisible boundaries and the space and societal consequences that exist beyond these limits. I create visual representations of the restrictions and freedoms I have felt while examining the terms of my individuality.”
