“I am a self-taught artist, wife, and young mom to two little ones. This submission, "A Breath of Night", portrays a silent moment in time. A moonlit skyline invites viewers into a quiet city night. A solitary figure gazes upward, the soft curve of her profile rendered in bold contrast against the geometric solidity of the towering buildings. The sharp lines and stark contrasts elegantly highlight the delicate features of the woman's face, blending modernity with introspection. For this piece, I used pen and ink on sketch paper.”
