Sarah Waqas is a 15-year-old Iraqi artist. Art, to her, is a profound medium to express emotions, experiences, and cultural heritage. Sarah’s travels have inspired her to use vibrant colors to capture moments and emotions because, without colors, it feels as if they have passed and cannot happen again. "Return the Visit" portrays a wife awaiting her husband, representing the uncertainty and longing of separation. The partially open door symbolizes infrequent visits and hope for his return.
