I focus on intricate details, from the folds of fabric to the textures of jewelry and skin, to bring life to my subjects. My inspirations often come from historical figures, cultural icons, and the richness of rural Indian life. The essence of my work lies in capturing the soul behind every face, allowing the viewer to connect on a personal level. My palette is often rich and warm, mirroring the vibrant spirit of Indian culture. Surrounded by incredible sources of inspiration, I have developed a deep appreciation for realism, Indian culture, and the intricate details that bring life to my work. Art has become my medium for exploring emotions, capturing the essence of people, and celebrating the beauty of everyday life. Each piece I create reflects a part of my story, blending tradition with personal expression. I primarily work with oil paints on canvas, occasionally incorporating charcoal and graphite to align with the concept. My work is deeply inspired by themes of women’s rights and independence, exploring the emotional resilience and strength women show in the face of adversity. Recently, I have focused on capturing the unique struggles and challenges women encountered during the pandemic, highlighting not only their hardships but also their courage, adaptability, and enduring spirit. Through texture, contrast, and symbolism, I aim to communicate a narrative that resonates with universal issues of equality, identity, and empowerment. Each piece seeks to evoke reflection on both societal progress and the ongoing journey toward gender equality. I've sought to capture the essence of rural southern India, immersing viewers in its rich culture and traditions by incorporating vibrant colors. My work reflects the spirit of rural life, celebrating the everyday beauty, textures, and colors that define its unique heritage. Through bold palettes and intricate details, I aim to convey the warmth, resilience, and vibrancy of southern India's rural communities, offering a glimpse into their cultural depth and timeless traditions.”
With a background in software development and a degree in computer engineering, I discovered my passion for art during the pandemic. It became my way of expressing myself, documenting my experiences, and sharing meaningful moments with loved ones. This shift allowed me to connect with my creative side, and over time, I have evolved as an artist, embracing the journey of learning and growth.
