...It Seems the Shape in Purple
by Oleksandr Pysanyi
“In my art, I try not to limit myself to established styles or techniques, preferring to explore something new. My works are diverse, because I like to "break" ordinary images into pixels, creating something completely new from them. It allows me to play with optical illusions and show different ways of seeing the environment in art. This reflects our modern world and its pixel perception. If you look at my paintings from a distance, it may seem that this is a reflection of the everyday life characteristic of real situations. But if you get closer, it becomes clear that there are no familiar images - only blurred, color squares that are far from reality. This perception game overturns the usual vision of the world, offering the viewer to deeply immerse himself in the world of abstraction and pixel mosaic.”
